Alix Wilson

  One of Lakeside’s leading real estate agents, Alix Wilson has an enviable reputation of record-breaking sales success founded on her straight forward approach, her intrinsic understanding of people and her specialized customer service. Born  in Scotland and educated at Edinburgh University, Alix began her career as a Secondary School teacher before Life and her adventurous spirit led her to Australia. It was there in 1991 that she was recruited into Real Estate and discovered her true calling. With a natural gift for communication, strong ethics and the guidance of an exceptional mentor, Alix quickly rose through the ranks selling Residential Properties and later working with Commercial developers on large scale Investment Projects. In 2004 Alix and her husband made another bold move - this time to Ajijic, Lake Chapala, a beautiful Pueblo Magico (Magic Village) just south of Guadalajara. Drawn by its charm and vibrant North American Expat community they bought a home and soon after bought a beautiful, master built Hacienda by the name of Casa Tres Leones For almost 2 decades they operated this 'Home away from Home' for guests from around the world earning multiple Best of the Best awards for its warmth, hospitality & excellence. Life brought profiund challengs for Alix in 2022 when Alix lost both her son in law and husband within weeks of each other. Despite this loss she operated the hotel and kept serving her real estate clients - demonstrating extraordinary resilience, integrity and purpose!  By 2024 she closed the Hotel - which will be sold soon - and turned her focus back to real estate,- completing the new Jalisco Accreditation Course - and relaunching as one of Ajijic's most trusted and experienced property professionals.
